One Year Without a Reefer

I decided to stop using a refrigerator. 

I got fed up with its impotency last night, in my rage from insomnia, unplugged the reefer and lugged it outside where it will stay. It was acting more like a microwave than a refrigerator. It is mid-winter, it is cold enough, I can just preserve my food by putting it outside. I wonder how long I could do this for.... 1 year without a reefer sounds interesting. I am living in a rare circumstance where I get my food fresh from the farm everyday, I almost don't need a fridge. ... Hmmm.... I feel a New Years resolution coming on... That, or a pioneer woman.
